The Today Show video is a combination of my and hughw's videos that I posted under my YouTube account. Todayshow.com producer called me yesterday morning to discuss the report and I described the trip and the video for him. Don't know if it qualifies me as a celebrity, but the "frequent flyer" quoted by Dara Brown is me. ^
I have submitted my video to YouTube for revenue sharing; there's been about 40,000 views at this point and a 5-star rating. All net proceeds will be donated to charity. Hughw's video is unlisted, as I did not want our poor FA to be an unwitting YouTube star.

The official Mega DO blogger who lurks but never posts would like to add his own thanks to Tommy, Reb and Oliver for having him along (and to Seth for sharing his room and being the staff A/V geek) -- although nothing I wrote this trip compares to what we saw at Boeing and the exposure our pillow fight clips are receiving. It was great seeing everyone again (and being a legitimate guest in the LH FCT this time); I just hope they invite me back next year for SMD3 and the SQ A380. (What, they haven't officially announced that yet?) And even if they don't, I'll still see you all at the next FT Awards in April.
Cheers,
Greg
PS: Please also save the date of March 5th in New York for the inevitable AEROTROPOLIS Book DO! I'm already looking forward to the hand cramps. http://amzn.to/apuSX7

Belated thanks to all of the organizers. That was a great trip and I am looking forward to next year's if I can squeeze it in around a mini-RTW.
Like some others, all of my SPG points have now posted - quite a nice haul.

Jetlagger has written for Time, BusinessWeek, and Fast Company. For one story he traveled around the world by airplane for three weeks, never leaving the airport while on the ground.
Hmm. Maybe we can do this for SMD3...

but have had status changed to Gold. I'm definitely hoping the bonus points will come through because I changed my earning from US back to SPG specifically for this Do - losing two very important hits for the Grand Slam. Fingers xed I didn't make the wrong choice.
And I'm sure you couldn't wait to brag to all of your co-workers that you were on the flight?
I've never been part of a viral video before. I guess I can scratch that one off my bucket list.

and she was quite happy to hear about it.

Unlikely, as it is well beyond the point where anecdotes are being added. I was reading the galleys on Thursday night and it was quite a nice read. I'm looking forward to getting a real copy (hopefully on Kindle) in March, though I will not be letting him autograph my screen.

Thank you guys for a fantastic StarMegaDo 2. That has been my first MegaDo, but certainly not my last one
I really appreciated the ATCA sightseing tour and the Boeing special features.
Pics will be provided next weekend through my MobileMe account.
There was only one drawback for me: I was one of the lucky raffle winners of a "Suite Upgrade" at the Westin SEA (atually it was 2 connected, regular rooms).
Unfortunately Westin charged me both rooms!!!
Since I don't know the special agreement between SPG and Tommy/Oliver for this, it's a little bit hard for me to claim the overcharged fee.
I would appreciate any help/support or maybe a contact person at Starwood who is aware of the agreement that has been made for the Suite Upgrade.
Thx
