Due to an unplanned trip down to California this weekend, I am now posting as Alaska's newest MVPG 75K!

I have been informed that I am now entitled to pre-departure beverage service of my choice on any future Alaska flights, free cheeseburgers BEFORE the Y pax have been served, priority de-planing on AS/QX, and an unlimited supply of special pre-laminated MVPG guest upgrade certificates! But mostly I'm excited to see the FA order the entire cabin to sit back down while I deboard at my convenience.

I'm actually hoping to get it so I get a free HAMburger in Y. I can only go through that knife-off-the-cheese process SO many times. =)

So is it cheese in general or the type of cheese that is unappealing? Just curious.

Indeed. Had my shoes shined on my way through in April. My shoes were covered in Breakup mud spots, and I had to explain to him that keeping shoes clean in Alaska is an impossibility in the winter. He was quite intrigued about Alaska...

I don't know about everyone else in the Lower 48 but I've always had something for the 808(HI's only area code) and the 907(AK's only area code)(On that note...I find it funny where I live we had to overlay an area code to satiate demand while some states have gone on for 50 years with one area code
And now since my dad has a huge pile of AS miles;I can visit both!

Kimchee anyone?

At one teriyaki joint here in Seattle the managers are kind enough to throw in a portion of the stuff they bring from home upon request.
