Star Gold Baggage Allowance

As an Elite member, what is my checked baggage allowance, and what is my hand baggage allowance, first on AC, and then on other Star Alliance carriers?

What is the respective allowance of business class and economy cabin passengers, with no particular frequent flyer status, on all these carriers?

will give you all the AC details. ON star carriers you get 1 extra checked bag or 20kg extra depending if they do a piece or weight concept. Most of the time this works out to 3 bags but not always!

Cabin baggage is individual to the airline and not a Star Alliance policy.

On the AC link, I did not see the bag allowance for Star Alliance Gold members.

Are you saying that on AC, I (as an Elite) have a 3 checked bag allowance, although with CP, as a Gold member, I had a 4 bag allowance?

I think only SE get the 4 bag allowance. All Star gold get 3 bags.

Anyone else know different?

Fisch is correct on this one according to page 9 of the new Elite guide. On STAR partners it is "an extra bag or additional 20 kg free of charge".
