Redeem miles for Additional Baggage..
Hi : I am FB Gold and I am planning a travel to India..I will be travelling in one of the sky team where the fare works out better (Delta/NWA,Airfrance Etc)...
While i understand the amount that i have to pay for additional baggage will be based on the skyteam airline i choose (i.e Airfrance might be $200 extra while NWA/Delta might be $150)..What i am not clear is if i have to redeem my miles for additional baggage how will this work ? This will help me decide to choose..I have to badly buy 2 additional baggage

I think you need to call FB to order the extra luggage allowance coupons. If I am correct, they are only valid on weight-concept flights and not on piece concept flights.

2 bags 23 kg each means piece concept. You can buy additional bag for 2x6000 miles vouchers according to the website. For flights with weight concept, you can buy 5kg for 6000 miles.

BTW, with FB miles you can pay for additional luggage only on AF/KL, not Delta or other Skyteam members
