A few months ago, Kagehitokiri shared a link to a page that provided details on special offers available exclusively to clients of Four Seasons Preferred Partner agencies. Ritz Carlton has a similar program (Ritz Carlton STARS), along with similar sort of offers. Unfortunately, their offers are maintained on a password-protected web site, so there is no easy link to share. Thus, I've done my best to compile a list of current STARS offers and post them below. In general, these offers are available when you reserve a regular rate (i.e. not a package or Virtuoso rate), and they'd include the standard STARS amenities.

I probably should clarify that these special offers are in addition to the standard STARS amenities, which are not nearly as nicely defined as the FSPP perks, but do include:

• Daily continental breakfast for two;
• Welcome gift/amenity;
• 4:00pm late check-out, based upon availability;

No, the information is somewhat lacking regarding the T&Cs of these offers. I'll see if I can get more details on the NY properties and will report back.

So far I am underwhelmed by these offers as well as what the STARs program seems to include. Wow, waiving the $25 resort fee on a stay of three nights or longer. Double wow, club access with a suite (doesn't EVERYBODY else with a club room do this automatically?). Be still my heart!

I am beginning to think that there is little value in bothering with RCs at all, as they have turned into Marriotts with bathrobes.

The Central Park property limits the upgrades to rooms only -- suites excluded.

Battery Park, on the other hard, only excludes their Ritz-Carlton Suite from this promotion. (In other words, reserving a Liberty Suite will not qualify for an upgrade to a Ritz-Carlton Suite.)
