Since there is more than one machine at most checkpoints, it's possible one machine is reserved for 'drug sniffing' - and if so, I hope this found out to be true so the search can be declared illegal and the case(s) thrown out.

I fully support the work the TSA is trying to do. (I use the word 'trying' intentionally.)
Anything they do that in the slightest way makes a terrorist think twice about what they are intending to do has got to be a good start.
Now that some hold baggage is checked it could be the thing to stop one stupid person trying to put explosives on a flight.
If they find 12 bottles of LSD you seriously think someone should get away with it?

According to your profile location, I'll assume you don't understand how our legal system works up here and why there is a huge difference between an administrative search and a criminal search.
Intelligent Americans do not give up their Constitutional rights or civil liberties to make it easier for the government to catch criminals - the government only gets to look for and catch criminals inside of the restrictions we put on them.
The police have other means and opportunities to find the drugs - an administrative search at an airport is not one of them.

Yes, it will be prohibited the drugs out of USA. It will try to get illegally drugs are being caught in USA. Which one is not have any legalized rights to bring the trafficking the drugs are not allowed to bring the cocaine, marijuana and etc will being arrested for charges possessions of drugs with first degrees felony. They will have more maximum sentences to life in prisons with hard labor.

Frankly, I could care less what drugs people bring through an airport - there is a time and place for the police or customs people to do a legitimate criminal search or investigation to find them. That's possibilities are trying to hidden the drugs at customs hall. Canine dogs will looking for illegal drugs at Customs hall. If CBP will find out who gotten busted to bring illegible drugs entrance USA. It will be result arrested for that. If they will find the drugs inside the bags. It will be automatically to put into the secondary screening. The bags will have go through special x-ray machines. Security surveillance camreas are lookout the suspicious behaviors at Immigrations & customs lobbies.
