Dreams Resorts All Inclusive

I aw an advertisement for Dreams All Inclusive Resorts, a member of preferred hotels / AMResorts.

I am intrigued by their advertisement of an all-inclusive ultra luxury concept, but find that few places can actually pull it off.

Anyone have experience with any of these brands? How do they do?

OK your comment is noted. Any suggestions for resorts in North America/Caribbean that DO pull off a 5-star all inclusive concept?

I not an All Inclusive expert but I doubt Dreams really comes close to ultra luxury. The closest All Inclusive that might come close are probably the 2 Grand Velas resorts.

Not in my experience. Deluxe and all-inclusive do not mix. It's the difference between getting in line for a buffet in Vegas and dining at Joel Robuchon's L'Atelier - worlds apart.

theres plenty of all-inclusive discussion here..

twin farms and winvian are the other top ones.

theres little palm island in FL.

in caribbean, theres petit st vincent and cayo espanto.

IIRC king pacific and others in CA/AK are like $3K+/nt, whereas most are more like ~$1K+/nt.

internationally, there are the safari type operations, like singita or FS tented camp. or some of the amanresorts - amanpulo's romance package says "full board" but its actually all-inclusive. (except alcohol)

also virgin's new verbier lodge.

and all-inclusive cruiselines like seadream and bora bora cruises.

if you want to potentially sacrifice luxury, why not go with something unique, like wadigi island. its an exclusive-use private island (all-inclusive) in fiji for ~$2K/nt. (similar in price to wakaya, one of the other all-inclusive fiji resorts)

top 3 in seychelles are also all-inclusive. IIRC banyan tree used to be, but is no longer.

there are 2 all-inclusive in maldives.

How are we feeling about Royal Hideaway Playacar? It's got 5 diamonds from AAA and its an LHW & Virtuoso property.

Palm Island in the Grenadines is an exclusive 135-acre private island resort. The water is the most pristine that I have found in the Caribbean.
We had a cottage that truly allowed us to escape and unwind. The food is superb, great service and an unspoiled natural setting.
All-inclusive and it include meals, afternoon tea and pastry, weekly managers'
cocktail party, and top-shelf beverages.

Does anyone know about, or have you been to the new Dreams Resort Villamanga in Puerto Vallarta?

I will be there the weekend of November 5th for a wedding. Would love to hear about the resort.
