Wow, those Auburn swimmers really perform well under pressure.

Heading into the 2008 Olympics, Auburn had won 28 medals (13 gold, 5 silver, 10 bronze). That total has now topped 30 with the three from this year's competition. The three medals also make 2008 at least the fourth most successful Olympics for Auburn. AU earned six medals in each the 2004 and 1984 Olympics, five in 1996 and three in 2000 and 1992.

Do stop in if you can. After a long day of dodging leather dealers on Florida street, you'll be in serious need of refreshment. I stayed there last year, missing the Cholulas by a week or two.

Don't you love that Marriott bar?? It's a leathery, clubby oasis IMO.

Wonder where they get all that leather from??

They get plenty leather in Argentina. Lots of it starts out wrapped around all those steaks you ate that weekend.

Isn't that the truth!

I ate enough steak that Fonzie could have had a couple extra leather jackets if he desired.

TICK and LYME DISEASE WARNING!

I hate it when people forward bogus warnings, and I have even done it
myself a couple times unintentionally... but this one is real, and it's
important. So please send this warning to everyone on your e- mail list.

If someone comes to your front door saying they are checking for ticks
due to the warm weather and asks you to take your clothes off and dance
around with your arms up, DO NOT DO IT!! THIS IS A SCAM!! They
only want to see you naked.

I wish I'd gotten this yesterday. I feel so stupid.
