Info on Galleries T3
I've tried searching, but couldn't find any really new or good information. What are the plans for the Galleries T3 lounge? Will other OW airlines close their lounges? When will it open? Will it have a separate FIRST section? I'm flying IST-LHR on BA, and then LHR-ORD on AA in F next March, and was wondering if the new lounge would be open and available.
Thanks for any info!

Another question to add to this. Will Galleries be accessible to AA passengers travelling economy with Sapphire/Emerald OW status? Or will they be shunted off to the Admirals Club?

Nothing has yet been confirmed. It is likely that there will be a pre-flight dining area for First passengers, if they don't provide a separate Galleries First lounge (which I can't see them doing with only a few flight departures).
All the other oneworld lounges will still be open, and according to oneworld access rules, the new Galleries lounge should be accessible to all premium oneworld passengers.
If I were travelling in First or a Gold member, I'd be tempted to visit one of the other oneworld first class lounges, rather than 'slumming it' with those pesky business class passengers.

Nothing has been announced about the move from T1 to T3 as yet, but any likely delay will be down to the delayed move by United. Work on Zone G in T3 could not begin until UA moved, which was a few weeks late. If the move can be completed as planned, then it is likely that there will be no knock on effect on the T4-T3 moves. Whatever happens, the T4-T3 moves will have to be co-ordinated with QF.

the latest is that BAA want to add a Tesco into the Galleries T3 so they can make their cut of everything Tesco sell!
