Did DL ever do the Fly 3 Fly Free Promo?
Like AA/UA/NW/CO/US has done, fly 3 fly free by 6/15/04, did DL ever follow? I didn't notice anything on the DL website nor FT after searching both.

Have not heard of any Fly 3 get on Free Promo's from Delta as yet in 2004. I know that last year DL had a " fly 3 get on free" promo. In fact I just redeemed my free voucher last week.

I am glad that you were able to use the freee "E" Class ticket. I know have three of them and never seem to be lucky enough to find a flight for which it was applicable. They are VERY restricted! I am the "ultimate optimist" and hope that one of my attempts will be successful. (I have tried as early as November 2003 and as recently as Friday). I suspect that the routing and days of travel are the problems.

Found E available easily...
Used my voucher to fly my inlaws here for the Easter holiday. I used the "Availability Tool v1.61" to search for E seats - and give or take a day, found what I wanted on non-stops for travel around the holidays. E wasn't available on all flights, but we had a bunch to select
Our search was more limited that we also needed to find an N (Y award seat) on the same flights. As luck would have it, it seems that E and N were pretty highly correlated in terms of availability.

I was getting nervous about having waited too long to use my one cert from last years Fly 3 get 1 free promo.
As with all award travel, flexibility is the key. In this case, I had no problem coming up with multiple options for a late Oct. trip from ATL to PHX so that Mrs. BamaVol could visit her sister's new home in Sedona.
Thank you, Delta.

) for August. No problems what-sio-ever.

Yes, a link or information on whatever the heck this is would be very helpful -- sounds just like what I need.
I actually received 3 fly-3-get-one-free last year, instead of the 2 I earned. They only sent one at the end of the promo. After a couple of months, I called and said I never got the other. For some reason, when they corrected this, they sent two -- lucky me. Already used two for vacation MCI-DFW-PHX all on RJs, will have to figure out how to use the other this year.
If they did them electronic like NWA does, doubt if I would have inadvertantly received an extra.
