Just FYI, from CPH
BA has 6 daily flights to LHR - same from ARN (5?) + 3 LCY flights
LH/SK has 9 daily flights to FRA - vs. 8 from ARN
LH/SK has 6 daily flights to MUC - vs. 5 from ARN
KL has 6 daily flights to AMS - vs. 5 from ARN
AF has 4 daily flights to CDG - vs. 3 from ARN

I have not counted the number of seats - but regardless the connection traffice to other European hubs is substantial from both ARN and CPH.

BA775 stops from next week, and the ARN LCY flights are stopped with the winter time table. So at least for the winter season, Arlanda is on 5 daylies to London.

Just checking out the new SAS sales...with SIN clearly listed on the sas.se. It has been listed in Scanorama for some time, so I take it that this is the new destination?!? I tried to get more details by making a dummy booking, but in typical SAS IT fashion I come to "Page Not Found" after selecting my dates:rolleyes:.

Is this how they announce a new route? They sent out an email about the sale, fail to mention that a new route is coming and then have it listed on the front page of their website without mention....just to have an IT issue so that SIN cannot be booked anyhow. Keep up the good work fellas@:-)

The SAS app states CPH-SIN as codeshare with SQ (SK8001/SK8000)...

SK2751 Oct 20, 2014 8:53 pm

It is also listed on the sas.dk page, as sale (and the prices are pretty good, I think). But when I try to book, I get the code share on SQ. It is a bit unusual to run sales on a code share, and then also campaign for it. But who know? Perhaps they have some really good deal with SQ on that?

Or it's a check to see if they can spark up the interest to warrant their own route, potentially from another hub.

SIN is still listed as a "green" SAS destination in the new Scandinavian Traveler magazine as well as opposed to a codeshare/partner destination.

Has SK indicated when they will announce the new intercontinental routes due to start in Autumn 2015? We are almost into the new year and have not received further details.

No indication so far. At least to the broader public. A guess would be around the time the summer schedule kicks in. But that is just a guess.

Noticed this as well, so much for SIN. :-(

Saw this as well - great that SAS is getting back to Hong Kong.^^
Disaster that they keep insisting on the two hub strategy. Wonder if HQ placement plays in here.:td::td::td:

I'm very happy with HKG and fully support it, hoping for ARN-SFO to be the next announcement.
