Carter's Doughnuts: Mark Carter, a former pastry chef at top-notch LA restaurants, has developed a high-end doughnut fashioned from fresh eggs, butter, organic flour and sugar, as well as Fair Trade cocoa and chocolate. After being fried in non-hydrogenated fat, they're delivered to markets and coffeehouses throughout his home county of Sonoma.
