They probably send a coupon you redeem locally.

Yeah, I've participated in these types of promos in the past, and like you said, they mailed a coupon redeemable for a 50 mL nip. Unfortunately, since they were so new, nobody around me carried the nips of this brand they'd never heard of.

Kind of a stupid ploy...now I shun Pravda vodka just out of principle. :)

Depends if your liquor stores aren't state-owned & controlled

You would think that they would put a letter with the coupon(s)
informing people of where they legally distribute their product so
that you can know if it is even available in your state...

Of course, if your liquor outlets aren't state-controlled, you can call-around
the liquor stores, as state-controlled stores you are legally and strictly
limited to whatever brands they have in their inventory catalog until they
decide to contract for other products.

In private-owner stores and outlets, at least they have freedonm to
order whatever product that people ask for.

Dead??

I get an Apache error when trying the link. :(

fireworksboy Feb 3, 2009 11:25 am

Just fyi. I'm getting a dead link from the OP.

cordelli Feb 3, 2009 12:08 pm

If you strip off the directory and go to there main website, there are a ton of dead links, undeveloped pages, etc. It's a very amateurish website.

bsb21 Feb 3, 2009 5:31 pm

Dead and the site does look pretty bad.

The link for the vodka itself, leads to a "future home" page.

Is this even a real brand?

Although I don't recall ever seeing on the shelf of the hole in the wall package stores I frequent, some googling suggests that it is in fact a real albeit new brand.

Steph3n Feb 3, 2009 7:18 pm

the site was working, it was a large flash site and looked good in fact.
