In the past, you could use them in the bar and order several appetizers instead of an entree. I don't think you can use them for lunch. Probably needs to be after 5pm.

As long you tip well (say 30%) do you think the waiters would have a problem serving somone 2-3 times a week on this? (by yourself)

You must make an online reservation. I've had troubles before at some locations as they wouldn't accept reservations for one during prime time. If you put in two people, there would be plenty of choices.

My guess is if you come at non-peak times and get known as a regular, the answer should be no. I would think even a 20-25 % tip would be enough as long as it is non-peak time since you represent extra income for the waiter and the restaurant.

$20 Off Dinner

http://www.mccormickandschmicks.com/...lay&pageID=259

now... can you combine this with a discounted gift cert?

for example: heres a $100 cert for $24
http://www.entertainment-savings-off...-certificates/
(says you must spend $200 to use the $100 cert)

so... cost of a $200 dinner =
200
-100 (cert)
-20 (coupon)
+24 (cost of cert)
=$104

or...
cost of a $100 dinner =
100
-50 (cert)
-20 (coupon)
+12 (cost of cert)
=$42 ***even better :D

Just make it for two and when you get there say you were stood up. :)

Also I was at Costco yesterday (for the first time in a long time) and I noticed that they sell discounted gift cards now. One of two that caught my attention was a package for McCormick and Schmick's. It's a pretty good 20% off... you get two $50 GC's for $79.99. The other was for Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf (another place I frequent, 2x$25 for $39.99).

These are straight-up GC's, so there's no reason why they can't be used in conjunction with this $20 online deal!
