Also, not all Starbucks stores participate in the rewards program, like the licensed stores in airports, casinos and many other locations. This is madness. If the sign says Starbucks, you ought to be able to get your perks. Period.
Actually, rather true...

I have been in Starbucks where the Starbucks gift cards are not accepted, and the reason given is that they are not company stores. I agree, if the sign says Starbucks, it ought to have the same policy as what we are told by the Starbucks ads.

The new online community of Starbucks customers is at www.mystarbucksidea.com
Starbucks has opened the site to get a sense of how they can improve the Starbucks 'customer experience'.
There are threads on "the Starbucks Card", "Ordering, Payment, and Pick-up", and more.....

150 airmilesmart points
I just wanted to confirm that I received points on airmilesmart for purchasing a $50 Starbucks card. You have to pay a $1.50 handling fee, but otherwise you get 150 Airmilesmart points for a $50 card. 3 pts per dollar. If you are a SBX devotee, it might be worth your while to purchase cards from starbucksstore.com through the airmilesmart.com portal.

Looks like we are going have to spend more money to earn stars. Well that is what the public wanted, more stars based on purchases. I do like the fact you now have a longer time to spend your stars.

I didn't realize birthday rewards expired the day after your birthday. I don't think it was always that quickly. Does anyone remember? Mine expired; I even went to Starbucks on my birthday, but stupid me forgot to tell the attendant to use my reward.
I contacted them through their web site to ask if they could give me another chance at redeeming my birthday reward. We'll see. (Oddly, I have not been able to log on to my account with Chrome, but can do so with IE.) tls

Starbucks & Groupon Deal
Good evening,
There was a recent deal on Groupon and is still be available, where you pay $5 for $10 for Starbucks ecard. Groupon usually offers this deal twice a year and you can load your account with the purchase. It is one of my favorite deals of the year Groupon/Starbucks runs.
Prior to the Starbucks announcement, I participated in their bonus reward offers before the increase in stars for a reward.
I do not frequent Starbucks unless there is a worth wild star offer or my child wants to go. However, I do have to say that when traveling internationally, it is very handy to use my starbucks account to purchase items.
Based upon this revenue shift, I will be frequently Dunkin Donuts more often. Plus, to me Dunkin Donuts has always offered a more robust loyalty program for their customers and food/drinks are more affordable. Plus, DD is offering more options to their menus. You can not go wrong with any size Iced Coffee for 99 cents after 3p.m. This is one of my favorite deals DD offers through out the year.
If the group is interested and willing, I like to see Starbuck offers posted on this thread.
