Still on the fence - not sure it worth it.

That was the deal last Dec, but then they had at least 2 books at $15.
So, buying them via FW got you $2 profit. Of course, it took 3 months for the rebates. In the beginning, you could sell the AA discount on Ebay for about $10. :)

It was not that much work for the extra money, especially the rebates.

Did anyone here last year ever actually get the gift card? I did not and was turned down due to the 1 per household rule even with different email addresses and different names and credit cards. People who did buy thru the link sometimes did not confirm their email so no credit. I am not buying this years in protest!

I can confirm that I did get the gift card - with help of the BBB and after five months fighting!

It does acutally work if you are insistent! Enjoy the books.

FYI.

It's a common courtesy in our SPAM forum to acknowledge one's own referral link, if so provided. @:-)

There is already an existing thread on that very topic. Folks were chiming in with either success or no success. Here is the thread:

I'm selling the 2008 books for a fundraiser, so everyone in my family has one :D. They're great! (Mine's paid for it's self already).

If anyone wants the AA coupons, I'm happy to share. I wish I could use them, but I rarely fly AA (more often NWA & Delta), so I'm sure I won't need them. Feel free to pm.

If anyone wants one for x-mas, the price did go down (free shipping) and if you use my link to get there, we get some credit for the cause (the team raises money for various charities).

Sounds a lot like some of the restaurants on Dining Rewards network. A recent trip to SMF found strip malls and paper napkins. Of course, now Famous Dave's has joined the network in OMA area and I eat there anyway so it works out to 'free' miles for me.

I once had Diner's Club and sometimes would luck out and slip through a coupon from the Entertainment Book along with the 20 percent rebate at establishments that participated in both programs. I did get an occasional 'pick one or the other' from the restaurant, though.

Travel Coupon Code

They write something about a travel hotel booking coupon - http://www.travelglitch.com/hotel.asp

Does anyone know what code they use? Could you please PM me?

What code are you talking about?
The link you provided gives instructions on how to get the rebate.
It's not a code.
