I can't blame the op for not reading every thread on here where 75% are thanks for the free code... ok a stretch but in theory you know what I mean

They ALREADY announced the extension!

I guess you missed reading the earlier posts and didn't read the MCR FAQs. The whole thing has been extended for another year. Codes can be entered by 12/31/08 and redeemed by 1/31/09.

Tere's no points to rush and redeem for something less "desirable" by the year's end. They may restock some goodies throughout 2008.

I know what you meant and I was not pointing fingers either. :)

I was simply pointing out to the poster that the "extension news" had been posted somewhere in this thread, AND MCR official site had the announcement out a while ago. I also provided the link so whoever else missed it can read it further. Isn't it all about sharing here at FT? ;)

with the recent announcement of the extension, has anyone heard any hint if HILTON will rejoin the prize list this time around?

a stressful promo

So I keep collecting caps and put off entering the darn codes.

This morning I suck it up and go through a batch - I set aside the blurry ones - thinking maybe I can find a magnifying class and decode them later.

I find 7 that I think I can read. Out of those 7, only 3 of them have I read correctly.

I am already tired and do not want to go try to find 7 more readable ones at this moment...

I am not an idiot. I do have mid-life bifocals but otherwise my vision is pretty good.

Finally to top it off, I again have to go through several mis-directed clicks to get an idea of what rewards are even available these days.

Gruesome....but I guess I will keep at it.... :o

(Am I the only one????)

New Rewards

Overnight for the first of this month, they have added two mildly rewarding new REWARDS. One is a $25 gift card with Home Depot; the other is a $75 gift card for BLOCKBUSTER. Nothing for Priority Club or Hilton points.

Get the giftcards while they last!

Also spotted a $50 Best Buy Gift Card for those who have higher point balances. Had not seen that one recently.

The $75 Blockbuster card for 750 points is pretty cheap.

Watchful........

I find the best way to see the darn codes is to use a pole lamp and put the cap by the bulb so the light shines throug the cap. It is the best way I have found to see the codes.

BTW, has anyone had their first 800 flowers 2000 miles post yet? Mine from October has not and I am on the second round for the new 2500 mile promo.

Thanks - Judy - I finally nosed around some other sites and found that suggestion also and it does indeed help. I'm calm again.

lol they should put a disclaimer on the bottle
For most functioning eyes please use bright light under bottle caps and proceed with magnifying glass
You then may find the promtional number for your reward
Thank you for drinking and squinting Coke

Any chance of starting a second thread as this one is quickly coming in on 100 pages with at least another year of the program ahad of us? I would be especially appreciative of a managed bonus code thread as I seem to only make it over to this thread about every 10 pages.

You can change how many posts/page for threads, although that doesn't really handle your issue with bonus codes. I thought someone was maintaining a list of them?

Does anyone ever "waste" points on the contests? And furthermore who is winning those items?
