Say I did that for all 50 coupons, that's $167 on bluebird(good as cash) and 600 cans of pop- so gross- 90% will be donated or given away. But you couldn't even sell the 12 pack coupons for $3.34, in this scenario you get $3.34 AND the 12 pack. Thanks Coke. And Walmart. Now please send me my 12 pack coupons asap please Have you tried that? Will they give you the difference back even if you use a coupon and get it for free? I read on slickdeals that this works however, because technically you are "paying" $4.99, I guess we'll see though. I'll report back asap. FWIW: the bluebird x2 promo ends Feb 28. |

No, I have not actually tried this yet. I have three 12 pack coupons left from the first batch they sent out. I live in a big city so I'm just going to *assume* that they are on sale somewhere.

It works. Walmart price was $4.49, savings catcher found $2.75 at Dollar General, and I got back $1.74. :D

I just bought 3 12 packs, Sprite, Coke Zero Vanilla, and a Coke Vanilla, all $4.98 each. After x2 to BB I will receive $9.90- not bad. (CVS is 3/$10 here) From Savings Catcher / app "What happens if I use coupons? No problem, you can still use Savings Catcher. If you use a coupon, Savings Catcher will compare the original Walmart price of the item, before the coupon was applied, to other stores’ advertised prices for the same item. For example: You bought cookies at Walmart. The shelf price was $3 and you used a coupon for $0.25, so you paid $2.75. If Savings Catcher finds that a competitor advertised those same cookies for $2.00, Savings Catcher will still credit you $1.00, even though you paid only $2.75 at Walmart." WOW - apparently however the money that is doubled onto your bluebird IS NOT freely spendable anywhere, apparently it is just another form of a Walmart gift card, but doubled. I can't say I'm happy about that, because I don't generally like shopping at Walmart, but free is free so I can't complain, see below What are Walmart® Buck$? Walmart® Buck$ are funds in your Bluebird® Account that you’ve earned from Walmart and Bluebird® which are separate from funds in your Bluebird® Available Balance and your Bluebird® SetAside Account. You can spend your Walmart Buck$ only at participating Walmart stores and Walmart.com. |
anyone else holding on to their caps in hopes the Walmart deal reanimates?

Just a note about Bluebird... If you have an existing AmEx Serve account, and do not have a different phone number you can use to register for a Bluebird account, you must close your Serve account in order to open a Bluebird account.
