The fact that some stores violate the terms of the coupon doesn't change the meaning of "one coupon per purchase," which was the question asked in post no. 8580 (which gave rise to this discussion). There is no doubt what Coke means by this phrase. Wishful thinking doesn't change the meaning.
As the Coke Zero coupon also states, "Any other use constitutes fraud." Walmart's coupon policy does a good job in explaining the use/acceptance of coupons. http://corporate.walmart.com/coupon-policy |
As someone who is in charge of coupon redemption in a grocery store, I can concur that purchase≠transaction. The industry standard is 1 item = 1 purchase, and 2 items = 2 purchases. The "one coupon per purchase" exists to protect the manufacturer from multiple redemptions (for example, you have an item for $5, and someone uses five $1.00 off coupons to get the item for free). It's all legalese to cover the manufacturers from having to pay out in this case in the event that the retailer does not have a coupon policy to restrict it.
As the bookkeeper at my store, we do NOT enforce the "one coupon per transaction" rule on the coupon UNLESS it is one of our own store coupons (they say store coupon at the top and not manufacturer's coupon) and we have a reason to do so. For manufacturer's coupons, we do not enforce the "one coupon per transaction" because all it does is inconvenience the customer. The manufacturer does not look at the transactions. All they look at is the number of sales on the particular product(s) for any requested time periods (day, week, month, period, quarter, etc). All of the coupons go into the same coupon bag sent out (to corporate, which is then forwarded to the clearinghouse) weekly. |
For those who have Stop and Shops in their area and some free 20oz coupons. My wife found a display of 20oz and they had coupons for a free snack cookie packs if you buy two 20oz sodas. My wife used two 20oz coupons and 1 cookie coupon and got them all for free.

I cleaned up at Walgreen's using CZ coupons. Tripled stacked 3 bonuses they had going. 3,000 points for buying $15 in coke products, 5,000 point bonus accelerator(in store coupon that was good until the 15th) if you spend $25 in merchandise and another 5,000 if you have an AARP linked to your account and spend $25.
Used 16 CZ coupons ($24) and bought a packet of gum ($1.29) to bring the total over $25. Total bill was $3.50 and got 13,000 points loaded on to the Walgreen's card. $9.50 profit ^ |
Anybody else notice they've taken off their subscription rewards to Entertainment Weekly and Sports Illustrated? Does this happen often? Think they'll be back?

Just redeemed my Hollywood Movie Money won during the Enjoy More Madness promo. I had to take the voucher to the movie theater Manager to input manually since the box office staff couldn't scan it. Easy transaction. Thank you again, UCONN.

My Coke Reward Points [Master Thread]
I noticed the Hollywood Movie Money expires at the end of July; so, it's important to use it soon.
Still waiting on Burger King and sporting goods gift certificates. Should have two of each coming. |

Is there any way to link the MyCokeReward card number you get inside ISIS Wallet to your MCR account? There's no where to enter a number on the MCR site.

Recently my cap collecting has increased a bit. Not to crazy levels, but now I get enough to fill the Walmart bonus by the middle of the month. I know I can't have multiple accounts, but can I safely sign my wife up with her e-mail address but also at my home address? I did spend 10 minutes on their site looking for rules on multiple accounts and couldn't find them.
Thanks! |

Thanks! The rules on the mobile site seem to explain it better than on the mail MCR site. 3. Is the Kroger Promo Over? I just tried going into the MCR's site via the link in the wiki. When I got to the landing page, MCR stated that the promo is over.
