I haven't run into that at all. I've been using some old Diet Coke 12-character codes for the "double" promotion and all have given me the 10 points and qualified for the double. I didn't think the codes expired ever, so long as the program continues from year to year.

Has anyone experienced a rejection on the grounds the code has "expired"?

I have, although I don't remember if it was a 12-character code or if it was one of the first-year codes that was something like 10 characters or some such.

I don't think that is the case. I just received a large bag of caps that my family had been saving up for me for over a year. I've been entering 40 of 'em each week for the past 4 or 5 weeks with no problems with any of the codes being expired.

Meanwhile, Subway has their own promo at battleship.subway.com, with the mobile non-Flash site at /mobile. Enter a code from Subway or various sources of free codes, 3 plays per day, chance of winning 40 MCR points. (I found it today, won the points on my first play, blanked on the other two.) Grand prize $100,000, drawn from all entrants.

I've won 40 points a few times, but never got credited. The confirmation number is about 30 characters long and seems to be gibberish.

Here's a list of free codes:

thanks for that info. it is good to know for the random "found" cap or box code.

Just had the same thing happen--won a 40 point code on the first try. Entered the gigantic confirmation code, but it was rejected due to too many characters. However, about five minutes after winning, I received an email that contained the confirmation code as well as a normal MCR code that I successfully redeemed for 40 points.

So check your spam folder, maybe the emails are there.

Also note that June 2-14 you can request a set of 3 free codes per day by going to http://battleship.subway.com/AMOE. I'm guessing this will come in handy once the freebies listed in the previous post get used up.

Diet Coke Double points posted

I entered Diet Coke codes on Sunday, May 13. Just checked today and the double bonus points have already posted, with a post date of May 14.

Now hoping MCR will bring on a PC Slaughter at the beginning of June!

My guess is that again this year, like last year, PC only opted to participate through the first part of the year, and as such, we won't see PC points again until next year.

Although I suspect the lifting of the redemption limits on 4.28.12 was an effort to clear out some inventory at full price, I'm not so sure that we have seen the last of PC for the year.

Last year the 500 point PC Slaughter happened on 5.25.11. PC went away for a while, came back on 6.7.11 with redemption limits lifted and full price 500 point codes offered. I believe some full-price 2000 point awards were also offered around this time, but with redemption limits. Then on 7.20.11 the 2000 point PC Slaughter occurred.

Based on that history, I'm not yet giving up hope. Even if PC is a partner for only half the year, that theoretically extends until at least the end of June.

I never got that email. I sent a message to MCR. Let's see what their response will be.

Betcha a Diet Coke the answer is "We're sorry, you will have to contact Subway." Subway in turn will tell you to contact Prize Logic. And Prize Logic will ignore your email.

Maybe, or maybe not. I've had good experiences with MCR CS in the past, although they denied my request for a code for a double diet coke points promo.

They've been good to me in the past as well, and for your sake, I hope they follow through. But given that it's Subway providing the code, not Coke, it adds another level of deniability for them. Good luck.

I double checked my prize notice email. There is a confirmation code (it looks like a GUID) and a separate MCR code. The MCR code worked just fine. ^
