I'm pretty sure you WILL be able to combine the discount with the gift card, because when you book on southwest.com, there is a spot for promo code (what you'll get with that $20-off reward redemption) when selecting flights - and then you don't apply gift cards until the payment portion at the end. Great idea, should work!

I think you are right :) I have 2 Southwest gift cards, the promo code AND a small Southwest credit from a previous flight. Am I being too greedy to hope to use all 4 on one ticket??

I must have missed something - I'm not familiar with a Southwest credit of $20 off for 100 points that's being offered, can someone point me in the right direction for this? Thanks

2 Best Buy $50 Gift Cards (1000 points each)
2 Southwest Airlines $25 Gift Card (500 points each)
1 Subway $10 Gift Card (200 points each)

Nice haul today. Now have 51 points left.

The Southwest $20 discount Promo code for 100 MCR points is a great deal. Only one code is needed per reservation, and it works per person.. 100 MCR points just saved me $40 on a roundtrip booking for 2 people. That's 40 cents per MCR point. :D It's obviously got limited usefulness with the narrow time window and blackout dates, but it's great value if you can use it.

Also, as far as I can tell you can't change an existing reservation and add a promo code (promo code box is missing when selecting flights for a reservation change). The fare is still the same as when I originally booked it, so I just canceled the original reservation and re-booked it with the promo code, and applied the ticketless travel funds from the original rez.

Figured I would grab a 20.00 discount code for the 100 points , While there I entered the 50.00 gift card sweeps for 3 more points and

Thanks to FW, I just ordered one 10 min ago. Remember you can use it to buy other cards at BB like Amazon, so it is useful. At least something to use those points for since I have given up on Priority Club ever coming back!
