Mike I won another 30 MCR points today. |
Wednesday 10.12.2011 deal
Today's deal is $10 in Live Nation concert cash - 40 MCR points (instead of normal 100 MCR points).
Redeem towards concert or merchandise before 6/30/2012 at http://www.livenation.com/mycokerewards Note: some of the live nation participating venues on the list are summer only (e.g. Virginia Beach Amphitheater), so there might be just a couple of events left this season, if any. Others are year end but only limited schedule (up until Dec-Jan) has been posted so far on a few that I checked. Also, IIRC, there was a better deal than $10 off from SPG in the past - not sure if it expired. |
New guy with some info maybe??
Hey people. I'm not much of a traveler, but I do collect MCR points. I happened upon this site a month or so ago, and I always read what you guys are writing about the MCR program.
First, I wanted to say thanks about the information on the college football shirts...I just recieved 4 of them, and I believe 4 more are on the way. Anyway, I just learned something yesterday that allows members to obtain free instant spin entries, and I wanted to pass it on in case you guys/gals didn't know. If you go to any instant win game, and click on rules, a window explaining the rules will popup. Within this window, scroll down to the Alternate Method of Entry section, and within there you will find a link. Click that link, fill out the security code, and you'll have yourself a free entry for any of the Instant Win games, regardless of which you were viewing when you clicked Rules. You can do this 5 times a day, and you can apply your free entry by initiating an instant win game. When you get to the window that asks you to submit, there will be an option to either use one of your free entries or if you'd like to deduct 3 points. Obviously, select the free entry option. Hope you can put this to use. I probably won't post much, but again, I do enjoy all the info on MCR. Before I go, one question someone may be able to help me out with. Today's deal is a $10 voucher for LiveNation.com. Are we allowed to purchase multiples of these, and apply them to the same order? |

Only one Live Nation code can be used per order, they are definitely not stackable.

I think the earlier in the AM you can enter them, the more likely you are to win. :)

I'm thinking you're right about this, I've won 90 MCR points today off only 8 stickers.
Still--for those of us who are up early, it's not a bad reward. :) |

Awesome, thanks! Is it five times per IW or five total? I did it at least six times for a variety of games.
Mike Were you able to actually get 6 free plays? Update: I just went back to the site to see if it would credit me more free entries, and it seems to be going through again. I'm not sure if this has something to do with the timing or with being maxed out for the instant win. I'm going to experiment with it some more tomorrow, but if there is some kind of bug/glitch in the system, it would be kind of risky. Would hate to win a grand prize only to have it stripped away. |
I actually played six times. Hope I remember, even if the odds of winning are long.

Mike I've figured out how it works. Each Instant Win game will allow you 5 free entries through that particular games Rules section. However, 2 of the games seem to be linked together, so not only does it share the same count for free entries, it also shares the count for how many times you can play either of those games. A) Diet Coke® Extraordinary Stay - Westin B) Coke Zero VIP Football Experience Sweepstakes and Instant Win C) Coca-Cola Zero™ and WHEAT THINS® Make the Kick Instant Win... D) Diet Coke® Stay Extraordinary Instant Win A) Only one entry per day. Can claim 5 free entries per day through Rules section. B) Max 5 entries per day. Can claim 5 free entries per day through Rules section C & D) 5 entries combines. Can claim 5 free entries total through either Rules section About odds of winning..."D" seems to have the better odds since it awards a prize per hour, but the prizes are smaller. The others seem to give discounts, I even heard of someone getting a free code for an EA game while playing "A". I also contacted Coke support when I first started playing the games and asked them how the prize winners are chosen by the program. They told me that prizes are awarded throughout random times during the day. So if game "A" randomly generated 8:05 AM, then the first person to play after that time would win. I have been spreading my entries out a bit. Playing the same game within the same minute seems like a waste. Overall, you should be able to get 15 free entries a day, which is more than enough considering there are only 11 opportunities combined. |
So, I entered my first batch of Monopoly gamepieces today. 10 gamepieces, no winners :(. Maybe I won too much on the TwistTextWin game...
