personally, i'm 85 miles away from being done with this program

I'm also down to one account (u.s. air) and getting close to my final 500 mile transfer then I will also cancel my account.

Final transfer? They limit you on the amount of times you can transfer points? It takes me forever to get anywhere with them.

There's no limit, but people have been getting fed up with them and are quitting after claiming their reward.

Honestly, I'm only sticking around because my typical visits to e-miles lasts about 2 minutes. Click a few buttons for 5 miles. It's two minutes that I would generally be using while checking email so it doesn't require much effort.

Don't think you got the point of my post ....

They don't limit you .... I'm limiting myself .... as soon as I get enough points for one more 500 mile transfer, I'll do that transfer then, after it posts, cancel my e-Miles account!

Gotcha. I'll be done with them after my next transfer too. I like e-rewards a lot more.

I received an invite to Consumersay panel through e-miles (500 e-miles offered to sign up). Does anyone know or have opinions on this organization?

I did it. It didn't credit automatically, but it did quickly when I asked e-miles about it.

I have been accumulating points as expected. The points are worth a lot more if you redeem through MySurvey.com, because they share the same parent (Lightspeed). If you do redeem through MySurvey, 100 points (which is the base for a credit card for a month) is worth 100 MySurvey points, which is basically $1. But I haven't tried to redeem yet so I don't know if it is easy or a PITA. I have a MySurvey account, so I entered a bunch of cards to build a worthwhile point balance.

If you don't have a MySurvey account, you have to redeem for gift cards, or so it was when I signed up, and it's worth a lot less. In that case you'd be a lot less motivated and might just enter one token card to get the e-miles.

For me, a 500 e-mile offer with no expense is a pretty good deal even if you don't care about CS points down the road. But you do have to enter a credit card (and maybe a bank account, I forget), and you will have to wait a while for the points. No worse than say signing up for CreditKarma or Mint or the like.

Thanks for your response and advice. I would be uncomfortable giving out my bank information, so it looks like I'll give this one a pass.

my 4/30 move of 500 emiles to UA posted as such:

04/30/2013 EMILES ACTIVATION BONUS 500

I didn't even look til just now when you asked.

Now that I have moved all to UA, and DL changed to Amazon and I did that, and I got another 1k for my wife's Hilton, I am seriously debating just not doing emiles anymore. It takes too long. The Hilton one was like the only one that wasn't über slow as compared to the others.

Sounds like a plan! E-miles is not what it used to be for me as well. Too few offers, no Delta redemption, many offers take too long ..... etc, etc, etc .....

Overall, too much work/time for too little reward.

I need a few more points, a redemption, and then I'll be done with e-miles.

Has anyone noticed that the 5 point click offers dry up once you get to around 440-450 points? My husband and I are trying to hit the 500 threshold on both accounts, then I think we are going to cancel our accounts as it is too slow.

Special Offer: 500 United Airlines miles for joining e-miles by by June 30, 2013.

A complete waste of time now. At least I got 500 RR points out of it.
