It looks like we have to wait until at least 5pm PDT on 6/21, at which time, if I wanted to take a cash out, I would get $24. If I use "web cash" to buy something through a GREENZAP approved merchant, I will get in the neighborhood of $65. But I am not totally sure, there are so many by-laws on this, that's what I made of it atleast. I'll check on 6/22 and see what I can actually do. If I can order some crap that is $65, I'll be happy, not a bad deal at all. God knows how this is a profitable business model for them, it makes no sense!

from the way I read it,
if you don't go gold, you don't get any of the cash accumulated.
staying green, you just get the webcash from direct referrals.
All the dough you get from community referrals (indirect), will disappear without going gold.

I still can't see how the site can afford to pay out all the cash.

This thing is really complicated. The more complicated these things are, the more of a scam they tend to be.

I wanted to check out my account, but their Web site is down at the moment...

I agree, although this may be on the up and up, the more I see the more caution I have.

Free money, but it involves you pay fees. You get more money the more people you sign up.

I think I'll wait this one out and forego the "big bucks" offered.

My account shows $48 cash balance with $0 available, and $37 webcash balance with $25 available. The way I read the box beside the balance info, unless I pay $100 by June 22 to upgrade to gold, I will lose the $48 cash and $12 of the webcash. Obviously, I would lose money by upgrading to gold, so maybe they think there are enough stupid people who would actually upgrade and they net the difference.

It said on the website that all $ is pending untill tomorrow 6/22.
It doesn't seem bad to me. I'm giving it a shot. We'll see. I haven't had problems with paypal and they used to offer $ for refferrals. I quite appretiated that myself.

I believe that has now changed. From the greenzap.com website:

Did anyone else get an odd phone call from the greenzap prez today? Recorded message telling me they are calculating awards and my account will not be accessable until the 7th. Gives them 6 days to make off with the $$ if it is a scam.

yes, I also got the recorded msg from sonkin saying they are calculating the rewards (as they call it).
Kind of stupid if you ask me.
It doesn't take 7 days to do it.
A simple computer program should be able to do it overnight.

I had earned $125 in webcash just logged in to my account and ZERO! All my green ZAPPED! This is a bunch of crap! Where are the merchants that were promised?
