Every once in a while they will offer 4-$25 cards or the like for a bargain amount (usually around 50% off).

Yeah, I've seen the deals on the specials page fairly regularly. I prefer the larger cards because they aren't combinable if you're looking for a larger certificate.

I think I have a workaround, though, I'll give it a try sometime and post if it does what I'm hoping. Thank you so much for posting these, by the way. I'm subscribed now so hopefully I'll catch the next one.

I've found if i put what i want in my shopping cart and go all the way to payment and then stop before the day is out ill get an email saying they'll give me %40 off the whole shopping cart regardless of size

Currently they're offering four $100 cards for $80. At the usual price of $10 for $25 cards, that's a 50% discount from the usual $160. Good through the 10th.

I am glad some people got use out of their coupons in some markets at some times. The actual reputation of this company tends to be abysmal. There are several reasons why the cards are difficult to redeem:

1) I've had restaurant outright decline to take a voucher after I was given the check. After that incident, I started asking up front about the certificate
to avoid unpleasantness

2) I've had a restaurant refuse me their usual complimentary wine pairing because of "one promo per customer." There was no warning when I ordered the wines, but restaurant.com voucher ended up costing me $14 for the two wines.

3) Recent changes from 25 off 35 to 25 off 50 means the certificates only save you if you're planning on having a big party. They may exempt Saturdays or drinks from the calculation. Some of the restaurants average check is only $15 per person so bring a friend.

4) Many times the website search puts restaurants in the completely wrong zip code so they do not necessarily appear in your searches.
