I can't believe that this thread has become a controversial one in FT.

To all the new members that joined FT because you found this thread, I sincerely hope that you continue to be a member of this community, and not just as a means to get a free ipod, gmail account or flat sceen.

I cannot stop anyone from joining FT because of this, but I would please ask for people to follow the rules that have been established. We do this for all conga lines in SPAM, you are supposed to follow the established order, we don't jump anyone, that way we all can benefit.

I see that they are starting to post more frequently who is supposed to be next in the order, so please, do follow the guidelines posted.

I second that William. I think you might have been part of the original vote so many moons ago that led to the birth of the ON HOLD lsit - little did we realize what we were spawning!!! :mad:

Having completed my offer and having managed this thread (which is rapidly becoming a nightmare) I agree with anything that will make it easier for L1011...N/StoHNL! (who's doing a bang-up job ^ ) and future caretakers to manage this thread.

Unfortunately, this thread has gotten so long it is now quite impossible to expect anyone to read through the whole thing. Unless, the rules are posted on every page, how are newcomers supposed to be aware of them? Perhaps the best thing would be to close this thread, start a new one, and whoever is managing it needs to continually post a link to the rules and the list on each page of the thread. I also am in favor of eliminating the hold list. And removing anyone who has made it on to the list if they post their link in an effort to jump ahead of their place in the line.

Mongatu - Effort has been made to post a message on each new page referring newcomers to the page and post number containing the official rules and list. I didn't realize we had another new page! I have taken the liberty of bringing forward the list. I have taken the suggestion that you (and many FTers) made to eliminate the ON HOLD list. From now on, no mention of referral, no addition to the list. I would encourage the moderator to keep this original thread open. I have deactivated all links except for the top person's. Hopefully this will slow down the improper use of a wrong link.

L1011...N/StoHNL!, can I re-add myself to the conga list? One of my 5 completed referrals was rejected for some reason, so I'm back down to 4 completed offers. I just need one referral to be done.
