Bummer man, that is bizarre. When did you actually place the order for your iPod? I placed mine the 29th, and just about exactly 48hrs. later I went from 'Pending' to 'In Progress 3'
I don't know if it means I am actually ahead of you though, just could be further along in the computer system, perhaps?
Well either way, here's hoping you get yours in a timely manner. Thanks for keeping this thread as up-to-date as humanly possible. Though it hasn't affected me really you're doing a huge part in seeing that people get they're iPod's as is fair. Good job!

bnarayan1511 is yours a mini? Mine is and I've also gone from "In progress 2" to "In progress", I emailed them but got an automated response. Surfbum's is a 15 gig, I think our delay has to do with the mini's being backordered, as I understand it there is a 4 week delay even if you order directly from Apple.

i've been in progress 3 for 2 days now, and before then i was in progress for a day or two. before that i was pending for a day or so. =)

i ordered a 15gb. i emailed them, customer support said that progress 3 means the same as in progress. so im not sure what the different statuses mean

hey, how fast does the confirmation for ancestor.com come? how long did you guys had to wait.

Are you talking about the confirmation when you sign up for it or when you cancel it? If when you sign up, it should come instantly (right after you finished signing up it should show up on your freeipods.com page), if you are talking about when you cancel it, if you do it over the phone they should give you the confirmation number (I dont know about e-mail since I called to cancel and it was fairly quick and painless)

I did the freeflatscreens link (is there a new thread yet?), but I never received the confirmation email, anyone else having trouble?
