ebay offer
 

The status of the ebay offer seems to update about once a day (somewhere between 11 - 1 PM EST as far as I can tell). Despite it's "no cost" appeal, it seems to be a bit flaky, my wife hasn't got credit yet and she did it on Friday (5 days ago). The annoying thing is that other people whom she referred, have since received credit. You can email customer service and show them your ebay emails, but I noticed they claim in the help section that some offers take 3 weeks to post. I know if all goes well, ebay shouldn't take so long, but who knows what they will say. Has anybody tried emailing them?

I submitted a copy of my confirmation to them on Sunday and still haven't heard anything. (it was an instant too)

I just got off the phone with a ecost a little while ago and inquired about the status of the new 20gb ipod. At first he told me they had 300 backordered and more would be in next week, however when I asked him if he was sure he checked into it more and said they just got in a big shipment this morning and all orders pending were filled. They are now in stock and available, hopefully some good news for those who are waiting on their ipods to ship out.

I'm in "pending" right now, hopefully it will change soon. :) Good luck guys

Just curious...how many ppl have ordered minis and how long has it been since you placed your order?

i opted for the regular ipod just because it would "get here faster..."

i was gonna order the regular one, i would of had it by now. but since i'm soooooo "girly" i just had to order the pink mini :D

the site came back up for a bit, but it didnt recognize my browsers cookie so i had to re-login. very odd!

Well you can take me off the list. I got all my referrals through friends and family members. I got like 5 of my buddies to sign up for netster email accounts because you don't need a credit card to verify yourself with ebay if you use them. you think freeipods.com will look down upon that. they all got credit from ebay and it showed that it was waiting to verify things. all that good stuff. they all need help though so because they used me can I post their referral links? I figured i would ask before I post them for the sake of being polite to those who have been waiting so paciently in line for their turn to come up.

I ordered last Tuesday, and my status went from Pending to In Progress 3 by Thursday. It's still In Progress 3, so I don't know what's going on really.
