Just received my software in the mail!!!
Go to www.windowsmobiletraining.com and register as your own sales person for your own company. Answer some online training for sales people of microsoft products, (helpful tutorials before 5 question tests) and get Free copies of microsoft XP pro, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, a pen you can take on a plane, a swiss army knife you can not take on a plane and some other random goodies. Check back regularly for new tests. ^ ^ ^

How long ago did you complete the training, and what software did your order? Did MS question your employment, or check with your employer?

Seems a bit iffy to me -- anyone else have any additional information about this?

the deal has been posted elsewhere, but only just recently. It would be a good sign if the OP has received the goods already.

Then I shall wait for him to recieve it or someone else on here to; I must say though, it sounds like a very nice deal -- i'd never pass up a free pen, as long as it's black ink. :D

I did this about 2 weeks ago and i received the XP pro today. The pen and MS flight simulator I will be expecting any day now. They ask for Company name, but unlike other Microsoft Training programs these products are sold by non-traditional retailers like verizon wireless and AT&T cell phone stores. It took me about 30 minutes to go through the tutorials and answer questions, now they do not have a referal program, so I do not know how to get more then 1700 points, and Office XP pro is 2500 poins. XP pro is only 1500 points, and the version I received said it was a full version not for resale. It is legitimate.

The pen said it was a Cross Ion pen ( I already have one paid 20 dollars for it and it came with gel in in Black, Red, Blue, and Purple) I am not sure what color refills this comes with it, nice little pen to put on a key chain for the car.

I had 1400 pts, took the final quiz and earned 250 pts, but it never posted. Anyone have a similar issue? Anyone having really poor performance on the site?

you can only get 350 points of you get all ten right first try 250 any time after that for getting 8 or more right

I can't even get to the final quiz... it seemes to have disappeared.
I did this once before and now I am doing it again for my "brother", but it is impossible to get over 1500 pts without that final quiz :(

Where it used to buy is covered by an add now for the wifi quiz.

Now that the referalprogram has ended I do not know what to do. You can not get enough points with the options available now. I have the XP pro software, and I am waiting on the pen and flight sim software. I can not wait. I want that watch!!!!!!

The 'rewards' tab doesn't show up on my screen... Any ideas why not?

Try using internet explorer, many of the tabs didn't show up until i used that.

I'm glad you received your software already. I completed the training on or about June 30th and have a confirmation page that shows my order number and describes an 8 week wait for the software.

Are you and eligible employee of a MS reseller? if so, that may have sped your redemption along. I have 250 points remaining after ordering XP Pro. I would love a copy of NFR XP Pro. I need one for my server/desktopPC.

1. On the first page of site "Windows Mobile Training, 3 tab you select the first 3 letters of your company name. I tried several names none worked. what names are you using?

Go ahead and enter 3 letters and when it returns the possible companies, there will also be a choice to proceed with a new company name. Enter your company name and you can proceed from there.

that's reassuring. Maybe I'll see my software soon.

Stuck at 1375 points
 

Since the "Final Quiz" appears to have vanished does anyone have a "tip" on how to top off the points to at least 1500?

Any and all suggestions will be welcome

Incidentally, how long did it take for your software to arrive after you ordered it? I'm moving from the address I input as a shipping address and haven't received my copy of XP Pro yet - it's been 5 weeks for me, and I signed up before the gold rush of people, so I still hold out hope.

Looks like all the cool stuff is gone (the Cybertool, watch etc...). All they have left is Microsoft stuff...

It tool me about 3 1/2 weeks. I did not post it on here until I was sure it was going to work for me, since I am not in the computer retail business, so I did it about 2 months ago.

Sounds like a hassle. There is a better way to get most microsoft products for 299. You need to sign up in their partner program.
