I like USA Today once in a while, but that statement in itself doesnt make sense. Unless you're talking about a former President? :) I believe GW is the one that openly said "I glance at the headlines just to kind of get a flavor for what's moving. I rarely read the stories, and get briefed by people who are probably read the news themselves".

Too bad I missed the offer though :(

Received my first USA Today issue in the mail.

Of course it was yesterday's paper and I wouldn't ever read USA Today if my knowledge depended on it, but thanks for the offer! ^ (we have paper trained our dog, so the brief subscription will come in handy) :D

The WSJ has international editions, and there's always the IHT. The IHT is my friend when overseas!

Thanks for this. I signed up a couple of weeks ago and got my first paper (home delivery, not by mail) on Tuesday.

I signed up a couple weeks ago, but still no sign of the paper. Anyone else still waiting for delivery to start?

I use to love the IHT when I was an expatriate...but then the NYT (a great paper as well) turned it into an international edition of the NYT. I much preferred the editorial independence of the IHT previously and the balanced mix of Washington Post and NYT articles that were included.

As for USA Today...still waiting for it. I hope they deliver it by hand not by mail...
