Tagline is not a card it is a communications solution. Actually it is 1500 min per month which is 3.3 cents per min. The largest user does 6000 min per month and yes I don not believe they have a life. And yes it does work in Canada as the company is in Vancouver BC. By using Vonage for 33.50 a month you can make toll free calls from one location. With tag line you can make them from any location. Tagline includes voice mail to your email so you can listen to them and respond on you computer or any computer (For travelers) while checking mail. Tagline also sends and receives faxes to your email (no more print cartridges) and full conference capabilities on the fly. Included are call transferring rules you, Call greetings based on who calls, forwarding rules and broadcast capabilities. So when you travel someone calling your number may be ringing your hotel based on where you want you phone to ring. and to be fair I cost me 100 to join costco just to buy the card.

I have an MCI card from Costco that's 2.99 cents a minute; but I believe that's only for the 48 Continental States.
Will have to check next time I go; never seen a 3.23 cent costco card; but I haven't been in ages. |
What is really great about a Cosco Phone card is that it is refillable. A quick call is all it takes to replenish your card. A little known fact is that they will match the lowest rate being offered at that time, even if your card was purchased at a higher rate. they will replenish your card at a lower rate BUT You need to request this, otherwise they will just renew it at the original rate.
I have been using the same one for years and use it regularly to keep in touch with special friends without running up my home, or cell phone bill. I also like the fact that more than one person can use the same account. Out of curiosity I decided to check to see if calls to Alaska and Hawaii would also be charged at the rate of 2.99 cents a minute, and was told that calls to all 50 states are charged at the same rate. |
thanks everyone for the info. i think im going to go with the ATT card. is there anywhere besides sams/costco to buy these? im not a member there.
