Important Notice for E-Rewards
I got an email from them this afternoon with this title but it would not open up. Did anyone else get it and what was the importand notice? I have about one hundred dollars there and would hate to lose it.
|
I couldn't read it either in my AOL anywhere. I opened it from regular AOL, and it's a link to a holiday greeting.
It also said that they have some new things coming for us in 2003. Your $100 is safe, for now http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif. Mary |
Thanks for the quick reply. I was a little worried.

Thank you. I also got this email but couldnt read it either.
I have currently 94$ and waiting for a 5$ survey to post and I am hoping to save til 250$ and redeem for 25000 Hilton points. |
It's an animated Christmas greeting. No erewards info other than holiday wishes.
|
I also got it, can not open it. If you or anyone else got any additional info, please reply. Thanks.

I couldn't read it either, but it at least sounds like it isn't very important - even though the subject line said "Important note from erewards".

I was able to open it with the same results as littleleaguemom.

Funny, I couldn't open it in Yahoo mail, but forwarded to another account using Outlook Express and saw it fine. Might be something in Yahoo that disables scripting in mail to avoid viruses.

While the message is coded bad, at least they have the alternative text in the source code. Here it is (the shockwave cards should work in a browser if you click on the link, it's a good thing not to have them run in e-mails)

I got that email, and also couldn't read it, UNTIL I hit the reply button, and then I was able to read their message. As noted above, it just said important changes were coming in 2003 and happy holidays. tls
