I got the membership kit in the mail today.An insert mentions we get the 500 miles after the first stay.So I guess Iam not getting the 500 miles for signing up http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif!Did anybody have better luck?

There's a thread on s.p.a.m that addresses the issue of the missing 500 AAdvantage miles. Its titled:

Anyone recieved the 500 AA miles from guestovations?

People looking for their 500 AAdvantage miles have already phoned in to Guestovations (as have I) and left a msg with 'someone in corporate' at the request of their customer service. Seems the response from Guestovations corporate is that someone there transferred the file to AA with out names/AAdvantage #s in the wrong format and had to resend it. Says we should see our miles updated by mid-November.
