I called and got a different CS rep named Chris. He had me fax a copy of my driver's license to him and reopened my account. He said I should hear back in 5 days that they have sent my Marriott cert. Ziggy, I am glad you didn't have the same trouble I did. I am thinking of trying a Hilton redemption next. |
I'm having similar problems trying to redeem points for Marriott Cheques. After nearly two months, with suspended points just showing up in my account again, MyPoints finally answered an email and said they had no record. After emailing back and forth, they finally told me to give them my name and telephone number, plus the number of points I was trying to redeem and to specify for what I was trying to redeem. They said they'd handle it manually. We'll see.
