MYPOINTS- REDEMPTION TAKING LONGER!
 

A warning for all, it seems that Mypoints is taking longer redeeming points these days.

The last time I redeemed 4 Hilton Hhonors it was rather quick. This time I have waited over 1 week and the points are still pending transfer.

Anyone else experiancing the same?

Same exact problem, my latest request has now been pending almost three weeks. I sent an e mail to their customer care yesterday. Will wait and see.

I am having the same problem. Previously their confirmation page would indicate that it had been processed and was on its way within a couple of days. I now have two outstanding redemptions that still say "pending" after two weeks.

I got all of you beat...6 weeks for an Alaska Airlines mileage voucher.

They claim to be backordered. I know firsthand that AS will ship mileage vouchers to a business that makes a purchase very quickly.

I redeemed hyatt gift cerificates on monday and received them today,3 days the same time it has taken in the past 10 months.I cashed in early thinking the worst would happen to mypoints,but rec'd certificates relatively fast.

Maybe everyone is trying to redeem all at once with the rumors that are flying around (no pun intended). My Hilton redemption is all in "pending".

My problem with trying a vacation miles

hasn't even been replied to yet for a week.
It used to take at most 3 days for someone
to reply back from emails to membercare.
there are definitely problems there.

MyPoints transferred my points to Hilton within 8 days. The problem I'm having with them now is that when I buy something through their website (dog & fish food is much cheaper online that in a store, even with the shipping charges) now MyPoints won't give you the points for 30 days after the purchase.

Well, my Hilton points posted today and it only took one week. But I am still waiting for my MyPoints Dining points to post from July.

I Finally got someone yesterday at Mypoints to speak with.

She finaly credited me with the 6 months of Mypoints connect I have never received. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I have also found out that it now will take me another 2 weeks to get my 3000 points transfered to Hhonors! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

I tried to get onto Mypoints this morning and the site is down. Anybody hear anything?

I got through OK this morning - they have a halloween ghost floating around that you can click for 10 points !!

Almost all of my MYPOINTS goodies came this week. I cashed in almost 30,000 points! It took about a week. Now if they would just post my TALKCITY points I could cash out the last 1,500 points!

You mention you spoke to someone at mypoints.
do you have the phone number?
When they first opened, they used to post
a 1-800 number.
they still haven't responded to my emails.

I also noticed that when I redeemed my points
Thursday night, all my points I earned Thursday didn't get posted. Yet my Friday pts
are ok. Has anyone notice this bug in their
software?

Just to let you guys know about my mypoints
redemption.
I redeemed Oct. 20 and it went through to
vacationmiles on Oct. 23. Shockingly
fast. 1 business day. Considering all the
problems people have been describing.
I guess I was lucky.

I just received my AS certs (2 separate orders) in less than one week.

Thanks for the post, CactusPete...My stupid AS certs have been backordered for two months...I think they are in limbo and it's time for me to call MyPoints to get it fixed.

I just finished checking my order status, and lo and behold, my order has been shipped. Ordered this on the 13th of October. These transactions used to ship in 2-3 days. I'm still happy that I will receive my reward redemption. Better late than never!
