NEED HELP W/MYPT REDEMPTION
 

I would like to cash in for a $50 cert for Marriott, it seems to come from Vaction Miles my question is has anyone done this before. When I did it for AA miles I got a cart from VM which had to be sent back to them then they sent it to AA. Since Id like to use the Marriott cert on the LP run I need to know if the same situation as by AA applies to Marriott. Or does VM send me the actual certificate which I need only to present at check-in. If I get the actual cert from VM it'll work otherwise I'll never get in time before I leave and I usually dont stay at Marriott,and I'll need to book the Rad in GUA in lieu of the Marriott. In advance thanks for your help in this matter.

I would love to have an answer to this question too. I recently redeemed 5,000 My Points for 5,000 Vacation Miles. My end goal is to get two $50 Marriott certs. Unfortunately, it seemed that I could not request this when I redeemed the rewards - there seem to be two steps. Much red tape! My first My Points redemption - I'll let you know how it goes.
