Is magsformiles.com legit?
magsformiles.com seems to have very good magazine subscription deals using UA miles. I would like to ask here though whether it's a legit site and if there's any catch (i.e. massive amount of spam)?
Thanks a lot!

Its a legit site...no spam.....but not such a great deal for every magazine. You probably spent 6-11 cents for each mile you earned.......
Most airlines refer you to them when you have under 7k-10k miles and they are coming close to expiring.

Don't you have to have the special code the airline sends to redeem on this site? I also wish they had a better selection of mags to choose from - I would love to get rid of orphan miles of 20K or less on several FF accounts

For about 5 years, I usually just phone in (800-961-8723), to get the free magazines. The operator told me about www.magsformiles.com so I used it, and no I haven't gotten any spam.

In the past I have given a gift using some very orphan miles. Also, it appeared to me when I checked before that different airlines had different mags listed (e.g. Men's Health was on some but not all lists).

Iit used to be that the lists were quite extensive...lately, Ive checked every US carrier and I cant seem to find Men's Health for a subscription opportunity. Does anyone know where I can use miles to get it? Each US airline seems to only have a dozen pubs lately like People en Espanol, Inc., Diabetes Today, Essence, etc.
