Don't worry - you CAN book online. What you can't do is CHECK IN online - you have to go to a check-in desk. Ryanair charge a "check-in desk user fee" which you will have to pay, and they will probably tell you to go to a different desk, pay the fee and then come back, so you have to allow plenty of time... but you should be able to travel.
