Airports with Uber pickups approved

SAN has uber/lyft pickup - walk across the rental car shuttle lane to the short term parking lot, there is a set of parking sports for rideshares next to a blue umbrella and info stand which is staffed

There is a service premium of several $

Great idea, as a European user it's sometimes difficult to know the rules before you arrive. I've been using this article from the Los Angeles Times as a guide but would love to have it kept up to date.

I've done an Uber pickup from COS before.

I'm flying into LGA later this week and understand it and JFK are both Uber/Lyft approved because in NYC these services, even UberX and Lyft, are operated by licensed Livery drivers/cars. I just REALLY wish NYC would catch up and offer Select... I'll almost always pay 1.25x - 1.5x to ensure a better car, especially when on the company dime and/or going out for the evening.

I know SEA is listed as "NO" in the LA Times article, but I've definitely got Lyft from the main terminal as recently as a few months ago. I know UberX is geoblocked but UberTaxi is not and does support app payment (unlike in NYC where you have to pay the driver direct). What I REALLY don't understand is why UberSelect is NOT geoblocked at SEA, since it's supposed to just be X with nicer cars... I've not been in town since discovering this, but I'll likely take advantage in the not too distant future.

That said, can anyone comment on pros/cons of UberX or Lyft from LGA to Midtown compared to one of the cheaper pre-booked towncar services?

Both DAL and DFW have uber x pick up

DEN has UberX, Uber XL, Uber Select pick up approved from either Level 4 or Level 6 (arrivals or departures). The rider app even prompts you to select East or West side and then a door number.

All Uber Black pick ups are on Level 5 (Commercial Vehicles area), which is the level for taxis, hotel shuttles and limos

Added OAK and SFO. I've never taken a black car from SFO, so can anyone confirm if it is really a flat rate from SFO to San Francisco? I've heard $65 in UberBlack and $81 in an SUV.

Confirmed X and SELECT now available at SEA, looks like as-of mid August and through contract with a For-Hire service, not traditional Uber contract Joe Schmoe drivers. This explains why Towncars always seem to show up for Select and X almost always has no cars available.

Uber X is approved at SNA and BOS.

Good job we have the Wiki. I got a note from Sacramento saying airport pickup is now allowed (not sure what types).

Does anyone know if pickup from Ho Chi Minh City airport in Vietnam is allowed?

I've seen Uber picking up at ONT - Ontario, California.

But, I don't think it is formally approved. They don't have a designed pick up spot a la SFO and SAN.

Last I took UberBlack a few months ago is was $65 flat + $3.85 SFO fee.

If you scroll down to the bottom of the following page the flat rates are listed there.

I added LGB and SNA.

LGB - Kind of... UberX allowed to pick up only from the cellphone lot. Which means the pax has to trek out to Lakewood Blvd.

SNA - UberX pickups allowed.

If you guys are that adamant about not using a taxi - take whatever hotel shuttle you want and hail the Uber from there. Been doing this for awhile now and never had any problems with the shuttle driver checking or even asking. I just get my bags off and have it hailed and waiting when I get to the hotel.
