Currently in a car, saw another at another branch I want, easy to swap?
 

Frequent renter at Enterprise, platinum member (I don’t know if it means anything to them).

The branch I regularly rent from regularly stocks XC90’s, XT5’s and XTS’s.

Today they put me in a XT5, but I drove by another branch and saw a QX80 sitting on the lot.

Would it be a big deal for them to swap me out?

Not sure about Enterprise, but I've done this often at National when the airport isn't willing to upgrade me but the downtown location is. That said, I'm not sure how much of that is because of the relationship I've built with the downtown agents

Enterprise will give you lots of hassle in my experience. Status with Enterprise is pretty much useless when it comes to swap outs.
Last time I tried to do a swap with Enterprise, they wanted to charge the drop fee (even though my corp rate does not have a drop fee charge), and to pay for towing back to the originating Enterprise branch.
