Flying BA long haul on Chol Hamoed Pesach - any tips?
Will be taking our own food (in case the Hermolis KSMLs don't make it, or are Chometz ones by mistake - had that once) and hoping to take some 99.99 ml containers of milk for our tea. Will take an empty Thermos flask through Security to fill with boiling water in the lounge. Any other tips? ... Apart from "don't fly on Pesach".

We are indeed - but as per my post we're assuming that there will be a problem and we won't get our KfP KSMLs.... So taking our own stuff. Re liquids I think we can take more than one 100ml bottle so we'll have some milk. Working on getting some soft drinks on the plane, but not sure how. We can survive on water (and tea) - worse things happen at sea!

No problem in taking multiple small bottles of milk. I do it all the time. Buy a few in Boots. They sell sets of 4 bottles in a transparent soft plastic wallet. You can actually fit 6 into the wallet though.

Gut moed! Dunno re Hermolis menu (I assume BA) but the lounges do have KfP meals. PM me if you need contact for lounge guy who's very helpful and can double check for you. But I'd still take my own stuff, just in case!

:)
So I flew Club Europe today Geneva to Heathrow. Kosher-for-pesach meal, was cold slices of meat and chicken and some type of couscous, (short flight) and there was matza! but it was small like crackers - it said hamoitzi on it. So I left it.
And I'm now in the lounge (J lounge ) and have just gotten my kosher for pesach tomato soup. Dunno what they give in F lounge.

Hmmm. I would have been a lot happier with that than with something like the dreaded Stogel ... got a (fresh) Stogel meal last night on BRU-TLV in economy (on SN). Just a little better than their long life version in that it was (mostly) edible ...

Fruit
Our LHR-MIA was OK.... We took our own stuff, just in case, and managed to "smuggle" some frozen Hermolis soup through security, which worked out well. Our friend at BA Catering got us bottles of Dalton Alma (red and white) so that worked out very well indeed - managed to get through most of it (shared with some other KSML people on this flight - honest!).
BA's caterers (LSG SkyChefs, right?) managed to miss out our main courses, so we just had starters and desserts. Wasn't too much of a problem as we had loads of our own food plus Hermolis stuff (and got some onboard Service Recovery as well). The other family didn't get any KSMLs at all so we shared with them.
