Point expiration rule for the new Radisson program
Is it still two years from the last activity for the points to expire for the new Radisson rewards Americas program, and for the international program as well?
Does the point transfer between the Radisson Americas program and the international program counts as the activity towards the two year point expiration rule? If yes, then it will be super easy to keep points from expiration for both programs.

My best guess is it would, because I used to transfer the minimum to somewhere (BA?) and it kept me alive.
OTOH, if you book a hotel reservation, wait a week, then cancel it, would that also count as activity? I would think so.

Did they allow any consideration from the pandemic for expiration of points. My last Radisson stay was in February 2020. Only just logged in to find all my points gone. Any chance I could get them back--am now planning 2023 travel and might want to stay at a Radisson.

so I havea bunch of points- and I just got off the phone with a rep- they told me if I book a room- it resets the 24 month clock, then if I cancel the room, it is also activity, and resets the clock. So basically you could do this to keep the points active - that would surprise me - anyone have any luck with this?

Whether Book/Cancel reset the 24 months expiration really depends on how their IT wrote the code. To safe side, book a room way in the future, (e.g. Dec 2023), and cancel when approaching; and before canceling, book another room way in the future (e.g. Dec 2024): this will definitely count. Of course, if there is any real stay in between, no need to continue this trick.
Basically I used to use the points every fall to go to Asheville - use 30k points for a $300+ a night hotel. But when our daughter was born, we have done VRBO's vs hotels, but don't want to loose the 400k points I have

makes sense- also - I transferred 2k points (the minnimum) to an airline - so that should also reset it right?

Most posts here have been about Radisson Americas program. Does anyone know if the same expiration rules/policies apply to the non-Americas program as well? Like others, I wish that the online account would show the points expiration date. How difficult would it be to implement this?
