I think the May Fair is regarded as the best London property, however if your planning a long stay I understand the Plaza by the River has excellent 5* apartment style accommadation.

I am looking around for high end properties out of London/Paris, having paid a little more than I would have liked for my BNG points

We just used points and stayed at the Le Metropolitan in Paris for 3 nights. Was upgraded to a balcony room with a view of Eiffel Tower because of Gold Elite status. Hotel was small which was nice. 5 minute walk to the Trocadero station. Would also check out Champs Elysse Radisson Blu.

Best Radisson in the World

Location wise the Champs Elysees seems like the best alternative. I have a 4 night stay there mid month and will report back after our stay.

My favourites are:
- Radisson Blu Cape Town: Fantastic location, spacious and very nice business class rooms, the city and surroundings are just fantastic. Good service too.
- Radisson Blu Dakar (Senegal): New stylish hotel, fantastic pool area, good rooms, but service was so-so when I was there.
- The May Fair London: Stylish, god service, perfect location
- Radisson Blu Royal Copenhagen: The entire hotel – from the exterior façade through to the stainless-steel cutlery used in the restaurant and the Swan and Egg chairs gracing the lobby – was designed by famous Danish architect, Arne Jacobsen in the late 1950's. Only the hotel is worth the trip. Perfect location. And Copenhagen is a lovely city.

I wish there were more/better options for redemptions in East Asia. A scattering in China, one in Japan, zip for South Korea. What's the best of this meagre bunch?

This might be a good place to start to look for Club Carlson resorts:

Radisson Blu Cebu. I bet none of you have heard of that. It has an amazing buffet during dinner. Too bad it made me sick. =(
