Transit accommodation in Doha
 

According to their website, I can book a transit hotel in Doha on the route: HKT-DOH-FRA. I checked the website: https://www.qatarairways.com/en/help...mmodation.html and low an behold my booking shows up, along with the passengers:

I then duly fill in the fields of the form, except the nationality field only has a tick and nothing else to select. I tried different browsers, and its the same:

This means that I am unable to submit the form. Anyone else had this issue?!

What's the solution here? I booked the flight over the Ethiad, due to being able to have a hotel (if not free, then at least at a good discount).

I was having that problem last night.

It works if I open the page in an incognito window using Chrome.

THANKS, That strangely works (using Private Tab in Safari). Also, note that on the dates form, you may need to press tap on the keyboard to move onto the next field and make the entry stick. Several times, the entry turned blank on the DoB field, when moving onto the next field...hence being unable to use the 'Submit' button.

Well... my Hotel as turned out on the bassis that there is a more quick connection available. So I now have the choice of a stopover hotel. I am wondering how much cheaper that would be than booking through a hotels portal directly. But when I try and check the price, by clcking on the relevant section for hotels from the stopver page: ( https://visitqatar.com/intl-en/qatar-stopover ) It goes nowhere, just an error page.

The page that its linking to has this domain: https://www.tkqlhce.com - which is also inaccessible by itself. A friend in Qatar also says its not working from there. Any thoughts? Anyone successfully booked a hotel through that link?

Yes, I am aware of that. But I need a hotel and that URL will lead to the error page I linked above unfortuantely.

Works fine for me, as did the different visitqatar link you posted.

You may wish to check your browser settings and firewall, clear your history, cookies etc

Can't get transit accommodation to load
 

We have an 11-hour overnight transit time in DOH on a DONE4 RTW itinerary. Entering QR's booking reference and my last name on the transit accommodation page yields a spinning wheel overlay and then, after a few minutes, shows the same page with the booking reference and my last name. I've tried in both Chrome and Safari in regular and incognito windows with the same result.

Since we're under 12 hours I can't submit for a stopover booking. Any suggestions?

Are you the only person on the itinerary? If not try another surname

I am - but I realized it’s an AA ticket so I think that doesn’t qualify, even using QR’s PNR.

I had read that non-QR tickets are not eligible? (But the programme isn't particularly popular so I haven't seen many datapoints.) Is that what you gathered as well, that transit hotels and the stopover programme is solely for QR-issued tickets?
