well, it seems there is no need to overcomplicate issues, you either credit miles to BAEC (no upgrades by qatar points/miles) or if you wish to upgrade you stick to crediting QR PC.

So turns out my upgrade story was a success. I couldn't upgrade online so my only choice was to request for upgrade at airport check-in which doesn't require any re-issuance of ticket. The agent at CDG did put in my QRPC number into the booking but I asked him to remove that after seeing the number on my boarding passes. The flights got credited to my BAEC account as per original booking class in J.

I booked QA flights for next week via BA and added my QAPC number to the booking, as their number of avios was much higher when looking at QA website - will I get the QA avios and Qpoints?

I am sure it’s double QPoints at the moment too.

is there anyway to upgrade with QCredits, even though I booked with BA? All QA operated flights .

Hello,I booked QA flights from their webs have some Avios to combine with BA and Qatar, when I try to upgrade only the return MLE-DOH is available.
I search on expert flyer and Business class is highly empty, also I don't understand when login to Qatar website I go to my avios balance and shows 1500, there is an option of 40k avios ti upgrade cabin, if I transfer 40k it would show upgrades? thnx and sorry for this newbie question
