or who blinks first. We also now have to factor in the possibility of QR leaving One world to , since the rumours have started , I have still Benn looking for some of those golden j class fares but wondering if I should start to credit to BAEC! oh for a crystal ball.

Just received an email for a promotion stating:
€539 for BRU-DAD or BRU-MBA in business class
Offer valid until 14 March.

Guess they made a mistake as these are the prices for economy :-(

Yes appears like an email typo - can't price anything below £2k this year.

Gave up waiting

Couldn't delay any further, so just booked CPH to AKL in J over Xmas. Would have preferred a 2-4-1 of course, but still happy(ish) with £2400 each.

BUD/PRG - CKG (Chongqing, China) in J @ £1149 wide open until next year. (Min stay: 3 Days; Max: 12 Months)
Nothing too exciting, unlike ARN-SIN with QSuites, plus a Chinese visa might be needed if not transiting via CKG.

On the bright side, CKG has reasonably good & cheap options for int'l connections with AirAsis, MH, KA, CZ, MU, CA, etc.; so one can travel to elsewhere in CN or Asia easily.

An interesting route I found through this fare is that for a price of £1286, you can make stopovers at both HKG and DOH: Outbound: BUD-DOH-HKG(stopover)-CKG Inbound: CKG-HKG-DOH(stopover)-BUD (you do not have to route it via HKG for Inbound I suppose, but it adds a 40 TPs more for BAEC)
Maybe people are more knowledgeable with fare rules than me can make a better use of this fare. For me, it just helped me slightly lowered the price for my 2 trips this year ARN-HKG and ARN-BKK; I did not choose the stopover option.

Available Jan / Feb ??

How did you use it for QR to BKK for similar price ? simply change CKG for BKK or add another seperate hop ?
Ta.

HKG-CKG-HKG is not eligible for TWOV, but you could buy a separate tix for CKG-3rd country-CKG.

Or you can go via CAN for the A380 bar :)

I tried to figure out how to do it via CAN for PRG/BUD-CKG fare after you mentioned, and failed. but found a new promo fare in R:
GF link: CAN-LHR @ £1523 to LHR // £1490 to LGW, not a great fare, but a good one. You can make stopovers both in and out at DOH, have no idea if you may do it via DOH/HKG.
an example for stopovers at DOH:
https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...46033da29c.png
CAN-LHR stopover at DOH

GF link: CKG-LHR @ £1523
GF link: CKG-CDG @ £1370
GF link: HGH-MAD @ £1410

Min Stay is 3 days, Max 1 month. it must be booked before 31 MAR 19.
CKG receives so much love from QR, maybe because HU just started flying CKG-LHR recently.
I tried to play around these fares and combine other fares like ARN-BKK, BUD/PRG-CKG, to create an open jaw ticket so that I may shed a few quids overall, but all sadly failed. So frustrated as I do not understand context of fare rules (too much a headache when reading through). Maybe someone who are experienced can help us to utilise all these fares in a better way.

I think I forgot to mention I made an open jaw for ARN-BKK and ARN-HKG combined with CKG-PRG on the return, so it lowered the overall price for me (approx. £200-£300 less);

I had no problem finding itinerary going via CAN

one can also do open jaw PRG-DOH-CAN-CKG-HKG-DOH-PRG so you get to enjoy both qsuite and the bar
I did not pull the trigger yet, not sure if the visa hassle is worth it

Git this email about a two for one promotion from France.
Then I checked the price. Some EUR3,000 to HKG, Vietnam, even 3,300 to SIN.
SO I thought that it was for 2 pax. NO NO, this is per pax.
The usual one-stop alternative for me is BA and runs around EUR2,100.
