Using upgrades from UK

My sister has been working down under(steady on) for the last couple of years and is QF Plat and has about 8 unused upgrade credits. She is now coming back to the UK. Is there any way she can use these credits on flights from the UK, she will not be flying to Oz or NZ before they expire.
Cheers

She could use 5 of them to upgrade from OZ to Europe on her flight back (if she's flying QF)( or 7 if she is stopping over in Singapore/BAngkok ). Once in UK, there is not much she can use them for if she is not heading down under again. They can only be used on QF flights

The only way she can use UC's ex-UK is on the following flights:

QF1/2 LHR-BKK
QF9/10 LHR-SIN
QF31/32 LHR-SIN

These all continue to Australia (either SYD or MEL) but she can stop or terminate in Asia.

Only other close option is QF5/6 FRA-SIN.

UC's can only be used on QF flights with a QF flight number and operated by QF (not codeshares).

UC can be used if you book on the QF service LAX-JFK. Though availability is surprisingly tight. The nicest F flight within the US.

Can she not change to do AKL-SYD-LHR-MAN and then upgrade to 1st on SYD-LHR?

As a WP, she shouldnt have any probs getting the upgrade cleared methinks. It may be a bit further, but Id rather do 1st that way rather than the no-bed service AKL-JFK-MAN

Thanks for the response.
She is hopefully now going to upgrade to F on the LAX-JFK flight,
She wants to come back that way to allow for a day and a halfs shopping in NY, and time is a bit rushed so wants to do the shortest route possible.
