Not sure what the 156 is - my only thought is it's a special (not the regular flight number for one of them though) or it's one of the new AKL flights that were planned, but may now be a casualty of the cuts.
The C letter in Galileo usually stands for "Closed" class, i.e. no waitlist left, class closed for sale. An R means you have to request a seat in that class to the carrier. The 9's and 0's are as you surmised - 9 or more available or 0 available. Not sure if L is still used, but that is a class that is on waitlist only. |

uncertaintraveler, take QF26, it's a great flight, except for where you are connecting because you'll probably have hours to cool your heels in TBI. You've probably read the posts on the QC lounges in TBI (including the most recent topic thread in the last few days). Hope you are Plat to get the quieter F lounge (not that it's anything to write home about). Still, nice to be walked to your plane!!

Maybe I leave the lounge too early, but I thought this was a UA service that QF and BA have not duplicated. Please correct me if I am wrong and I will test it out when there next month. |
I believe one of the unpublished benefits of Platinum is that they will wheeelchair you from the lounge to the plane once you have too many Crownies and can no longer sustain vertical orientation http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I think also that the "C" may also refer to when the a/c does not contain business class seats or if so , they are not sold as such.I had award bookings from ASP to SYD in June-NO more .The aircraft has apparently been converted to one without J class.
