The CSD recently stopped by to say hello on Mrs & my recent HKG-SIN flight (both OW Sapphire at the time). A nice touch but I understand the philosophy of CX as so aptly mentioned in the thread, but the effort was appreciated nevertheless. The real touch is that all the flight crew uses your name as well - crib sheet discretely in hand or attched to the cart.

But what impressed me most was the FA that said "good bye Mr WF" as we were leaving - with no such exam notes.
