Priority for war veterans?

FWIW, I'm not aware of any US airline that does this. Several do give priority boarding for "active duty military" or "military in uniform", but I've never seen one that gives priority to anyone-that-has-ever-served.

I've flown (in the past few years) on American, American Eagle, United, Delta, US Airways (how long ago was that???) and SouthWest - never seen it for "veterans".

This type of nationalism where war and veterans are super glorified is more fit for the USA. Good for QF to point out that there are many public servants who put their lives in line for people.
